AERCON Florida LLC Company

Company Background

AERCON Florida is a Delaware limited liability company that was established July 19, 2002. It is an affiliate of AERCON Industries LLC, an Indiana-based company established on April 30, 2002. AERCON Industries is a privately held company and is classified as a small business.

The principal business of AERCON Florida is to manufacture AAC building products. AAC is a masonry product manufactured through a process that combines sand, cement, lime and water. These products are made in various sizes of panel or block and used in the construction of wall, floor and roof systems.

Product History

The first AAC product called Ytong (pronounced ee’ tahng) was developed and patented in Sweden in 1924 by an architect. In September 2002, AERCON Florida purchased the AAC production facility in Haines City, Florida, owned by Ytong Florida. The facility began operations under AERCON Florida in December 2002.

AERCON is the only producer of AAC in the United States that is American owned. The AERCON Florida production facility is highly regarded within the AAC industry due to its commitment to developing quality products while providing extensive technical support to the professionals that utilize this building material.
